Full Moon 2024 Desk Calendar

Moon or lunar calendars are adjusted every year according to moon phases. A full lunar phase cycle takes approximately 29.5 days which means there are 12 full moons in most years, but some years will have an 'extra' full moon; when this happens, the second full moon in the month is called a 'blue moon.' There was a blue moon scheduled for August 30th of 2023, but for 2024, there will only be twelve.

This calendar highlights every full moon name throughout the year. The names go back to the ancient cultures who named the full moons to track the months and season. Some people track the names to the old Farmer's almanac and others go all the way back to Native American tribes.
