We don't see any bears around Edmonds and that's okay as long as they have plenty of room to roam nearby, which they do. The rugged mountains in the north cascades, for example, provide a wonderful habitat for brown bears and grizzlies. While grizzlies have lived in the north cascades for 20,000 years, the north cascades grizzly is now the most at risk bear in North America.
